The 2ml Uwell Whirl S tank can be used as a replacement for your original Whirl S tank or as a handy spare when you want to change your e-liquid flavours.

The inclusion of an adjustable airflow ring means it can support both MTL and RDL vaping styles (see FAQs for definitions of these terms). Simply use the ring to adjust the tank’s air intake to provide a more airy or restricted vape depending on your preference.

The tank’s quartz glass porthole-style viewing window means you can keep a check on your e-liquid levels so you know when it’s time for a top-up. Filling the tank with e-liquid is quick, easy and mess free thanks to its convenient top filling system. You can fill the tank while it’s still attached to the device by simply removing the top cap and adding e-liquid through the filling hole.

A strong magnetic connection holds the tank securely to the device but also makes it easy to remove and replace.

What e-liquid can you use in the Uwell Whirl S tank?

When used with Uwell Whirl S UN2 0.8ohm mesh coils, the Uwell Whirl S tank is best used with VG:PG 50:50 e-liquids such as Halo Vapour Co.

Can you wash a Uwell Whirl S tank?

Yes. Remove the tank from the device, and empty out any e-liquid. Wash the tank out with warm (not boiling) water. Ensure that the tank is fully dry before using it again.
You can also clean the connections out with cotton to remove dust.

What is the difference between Mouth-to-Lung (MTL), Direct-Lung (DL) and restricted Direct-Lung (RDL) vaping?

In Mouth-to-Lung vaping you inhale vapour and hold it in your mouth for a moment before inhaling again for the vapour to reach your lungs. In Direct-Lung (DL) vaping you inhale in one continuous breath into your lungs.

With restricted Direct-Lung vaping, you inhale in the same way as DL, but you don’t require as much airflow over the coil. The flavour experience is similar to DL, but the throat hit is more similar to MTL. See MTL v DL for more information.

Use the correct e-liquid for the coil/pod you are using – see recommended e-liquids on the product description page on E-Cigarette Direct.
Avoid filling the tank or pod above the fill line or to the very top.

Tanks & pods: Replaceable coil

When adding a new coil, ‘prime’ it first by allowing e-liquid to soak in for at least five minutes before use.
When device is switched on, only press fire button when inhaling. This prevents condensation build up in the pod or tank.
Push/screw coils in firmly but don’t over-tighten.
Use the correct power settings for the coil you are using. You will usually find this on your manual or on the coil itself.Always keep some e-liquid in the pod or tank.
The key here is to ensure the coil is saturated with e-liquid so it does not dry out.

Tanks & pods: Fixed coil.

When using a new pod for the first time, allow e-liquid to soak in for five minutes before using.
When device is switched on, only press fire button when inhaling. This avoids condensation in the pod or tank.
Keep some e-liquid in the pod at all times. The key here is to ensure the coil is covered with e-liquid so it does not dry out.
When travelling on a plane, empty pods before use, as changes in air pressure can cause leakage.

Keeping a tank or pod clean

Keep the mouthpiece clear, especially if you spend a lot of time doing outdoor activities such as gardening or if you find the airflow is affected. If you have a removable mouthpiece, remove and blow through it to clear it. You can further clean the mouthpiece by pushing some kitchen towel or a cotton bud through it.

Occasionally cleaning your tank can improve performance. To clean, first, remove all e-liquid from the tank. If you have a replaceable coil, remove it. Wash the tank using warm but not boiling water. Allow the tank to dry completely before using it again, as water can affect the quality of your vape.
