Innokin Zlide Tank product overview

The original Zenith tank by Innokin, also the result of a collaboration, with Phil Busardo, was designed to be super simple to use, but this simplicity was reflected in the design and it did look a bit basic. The Innokin Zlide, in comparison, looks sleeker, with a large open window to view e-liquid levels and a subtle curve on the bottom of the drip tip for a more sophisticated look.

The Zlide tank can also be found as part of the Coolfire Z50 Zlide, Kroma-R Zlide and Adept Zlide kits.

Innokin Zlide Coils

The Innokin Zlide Tank comes with two coils, but is also compatible with all Zenith coils. The 0.48 ohm coil is built with Innokin’s plex3d mesh coil. Mesh coils utilise a interlinking metal to maximise the surface area of the coil, allowing for more consistent flavour and vapour as well as an improved coil life. The 1.6 ohm coil is designed for use at lower wattage and offers a cooler vape more suitable for mouth to lung vaping.

Simple Coil Replacement

The Innokin Zlide also comes with one of our favourite coil features – the ability to change the coil without having to open the whole tank and risk spilling e-liquid. This features allows you to replace the coil by simply screwing out the old coil and screwing in a new coils.

Easy Refilling

The Zlide comes with easy top filling. Simply remove the top cap and slide the top of the tank to the side to open the filling port.

COMPATIBLE E-LIQUIDS & COILS

This tank can be used with both VG:PG 50:50 e-liquid and High VG e-liquid.

The Zlide tank is compatible with Innokin Zenith (Z) coils.

High VG e-liquid: Use 0.3ohm, 0.48ohm or 0.5ohm Zenith coils
50:50 e-liquid: Use 0.8ohm, 1.0ohm, 1.2ohm or 1.6ohm Zenith coils

Who is the Innokin Zlide Tank for?

The ease of use of the Zlide means it’s ideal for new and intermediate vapers, while the option of using a lower resistance mesh coil means it also great for vapers who prefer a bit more vapour.

Usage Guidelines

As with all vape tanks, it’s best to prime the coil before using for the first time. Fill the tank and allow to stand for five minutes before using a new coil for the first time. You can also drip a little e-liquid into the coil ports before screwing into the tank.

Compatibility

The Zlide tank is compatible with most vape devices with a 510 connection, and with all coils in the Z line by Innokin.

All tanks & pods

Use the correct e-liquid for the coil/pod you are using – see recommended e-liquids on the product description page on E-Cigarette Direct.
Avoid filling the tank or pod above the fill line or to the very top.

Tanks & pods: Replaceable coil

When adding a new coil, ‘prime’ it first by allowing e-liquid to soak in for at least five minutes before use.
When device is switched on, only press fire button when inhaling. This prevents condensation build up in the pod or tank.
Push/screw coils in firmly but don’t over-tighten.
Use the correct power settings for the coil you are using. You will usually find this on your manual or on the coil itself.Always keep some e-liquid in the pod or tank.
The key here is to ensure the coil is saturated with e-liquid so it does not dry out.

Tanks & pods: Fixed coil.

When using a new pod for the first time, allow e-liquid to soak in for five minutes before using.
When device is switched on, only press fire button when inhaling. This avoids condensation in the pod or tank.
Keep some e-liquid in the pod at all times. The key here is to ensure the coil is covered with e-liquid so it does not dry out.
When travelling on a plane, empty pods before use, as changes in air pressure can cause leakage.

Keeping a tank or pod clean

Keep the mouthpiece clear, especially if you spend a lot of time doing outdoor activities such as gardening or if you find the airflow is affected. If you have a removable mouthpiece, remove and blow through it to clear it. You can further clean the mouthpiece by pushing some kitchen towel or a cotton bud through it.

Occasionally cleaning your tank can improve performance. To clean, first, remove all e-liquid from the tank. If you have a replaceable coil, remove it. Wash the tank using warm but not boiling water. Allow the tank to dry completely before using it again, as water can affect the quality of your vape.
